I was able to pick mine out with out damaging them. I have a special pick just for picking out seals that is not sharp. I want to replace mine just because I would hate to have to take apart my TB again.
I went to the local bearing and hydraulic shop and they didn't have anything! however...
life is a compromise. since my car is not a daily and I really enjoy the lip and stance, it is worth it to drive slowly, take things at an angle, and sometimes go the long way. if my car was a daily I would not have my lip on there.
hey there. I recently had my throttle body apart for powder coat. I want to replace the shaft seals but there are no Toyota part numbers for individual throttle body parts. has anyone found a replacement for these?

At 170 compression I don't think you have a ring sealing issue. If you did you would probably see oil on your spark plug. Have you pulled the plugs to see what the look like? If they are black and not oily i bet you have an injector or fuel pressure issue.
I just got my 550s back from...

18 might be possible and safe with your alcohol and water injection, but thats what you are paying
Lawerence for, he will know for sure if your set up is safe. If you can pull enough fuel at 18 psi to keep it out of fuel cut I think you will have a killer set up. I would love to come check...
Some good advice here. I have not been able to tune my set up yet above 4000 rpm. Sounds like I might be using the afpr to provide less fuel rather than more!
it all depends on your SAFC II settings. If you are having to add fuel at 15 psi, then you will hit fuel cut for sure. If you are pulling enough fuel to trick the ecu into thinking it is receiving less boost than the limit that triggers fuel cut then you will not need a BCC.
I have similar...
