a stock SN 95 cobra 5.0 makes 240 hp and 280 ftlbs and does a mid to high 14 in the quarter mile. making its acceleration comparable with a stock MK3. have you ever driven a SN95? I did not drive a cobra, but the GT I drove was an embarrassment and it was pretty much brand new. The supra is...
just take a break, and enjoy other things. I took a 5 year hiatus from working on cars all together. that was after over 10 years of wrenching as a hobby. now that I am back I find myself going to the garage to get something done on the supra on the regular. and working on the car is...
thanks for the info.
as it turns out I decided not to do the wiring tuck yet. i figured I will need to work on this bucket too much and would hate to always go digging for that stuff, not to mention my fender lining looks haggard. once I get my break up fixed and take the standalone plunge...

I would try your ecu in a known good car. When I grounded out my alternator I damaged my ecu, and my fuel map was all over the place as well. Good luck!

MKIII had the 7m. MKIV had the 2jz. they both have their reputations. As for bodystyle there were very minimal changes in the MKIII pre 89 and post 89. tail lights being the biggest difference. the MKIV was pretty much unchanged from 93-98.
I like the MKIII body lines by far the best...
