TODAY
been little busier doin other stuff but got some done
finished of pipework from turbo with the exception of an elbow that needs to be done that is the final connectin piece before secret spec intercooler is ordered :naughty:
then all the induction system can be boxed of so as to speak
i think i will have to follow this thread closley jay looks like its going to be intresting
incidently you might want to upgrade the rad uless i missed that
look forward to the posts
check your camshaft sensor
i have had one go down on me
long time ago and if i remeber right was a little similar with no power
check the clearences and the resistance
with out seeing it a difficult one could be oil seals in turbo had similar problem on my old to4 but it also did it when you backed of and reapplied throttle
check the back of your cam pulley's make sure they havent elongated
had it happen to me loads of boost no power at all reset timing ten mins later same thing
new pulley it was
but could only be seen when took of
i have binned both the front and rear supports and made new brackets but originaly just cut the centre out of front one so it was like little corner sections
grimjack changing your wires on the engine loom was a great decision in my opinion well done for being sesible and spending time on the important issues that get overlooked
