That's a good idea for a nice cheap lip. Someone was giving away a crap ton of that stuff for free on craigslist last week. Should have picked some up!

Got offered a big Dodge ram for a straight trade for my Supra. I think its a 2000 or a 2001. Might take it and try to trade for another Supra

Would bad/dirty contacts on one switch make it so the window can't be controlled from either driver or passenger side switches?

Thank you. Ill try that next pay check. My car has been sitting for a couple years unused. When I got it the window was iffy and worked when it wanted to. It usually worked when you pressed the button a bunch of times but now it won't budge. At least not a whole lot of rain water gets in

Any tips for getting my passenger window to go up? Its been down an inch or 2 for the last week and its now raining

I don't know much about e85 but back when I had my 2000 Mercury Sable (I used to run premium fuel and nothing but) I accidentally put 3 gallons of e85 in my tank before realizing it. I filled it the rest of the way with mid grade fuel (16 gallon tank I believe). It must have done something right...
I really just did that... I started my car in gear while I was parked 2 inches away from a cinder block wall. Not too big of a deal cause my front number needs to be repainted anyway

Looks like I'll be making a return at Walmart. But I got lucky, my car was converted to r134a when I bought it. One of the previous owners did it

I think I'm gonna do that sometime.
I have a quick question. I'm at the store buying r134 cause my AC isn't super cold anymore. Does anyone recommend the stuff with the leak sealer or should I just get the regular stuff?

I hear where you're coming from and it does make sense. I was actually thinking about that a little while ago, just buy an almost completed Supra. I have always wanted a targa. I have seen a few completed supras for sale around my area but to me, the fun is in building it. I love working on my...
I was originally planning on just dropping a new/rebuilt/used with lower mileage 7mge in along with new clutch, motor mounts, whatever else needs or is recommended to be replaced while the engine is out. It does have a bunch of tiny issues but for being in Wisconsin for almost the last 8 years...
Hmm.. never thought to go 2jz. I think that's what I'm going to save for. I have everything for a stage 4 clutch except for the clutch plate and my buddy has a spare r154

I don't have the time to do a head gasket repair. This is my only car and I work 5 days a week. I was planning on saving up to buy a second car, need one for winter anyway, and putting money aside for the supra. It needs a complete rebuild bad. The motor has 205k miles, its lacking power...
Its a 7mge. I could get a block test done soon. I just did an oil change and there wasn't any coolant in it, just lots of gas, and my coolant doesn't have any oil in it

Well it didn't do this when I first got it. I just noticed it pushing out coolant yesterday when I was driving a lot in the heat with the AC on

I have no idea. I asked the PO about it before I bought it since I knew this was a common issue on these cars but he didn't know either. He owned the car for 7-8 years and never had it done. It has 205k miles on it so I imaging it had to have been done at some point in time

Damn it... means my head gasket is getting worse. Back in the glory days when I had my escort wagon it was doing the same thing, pushing the coolant out of the over flow. Changed the cap and it stopped. Was hoping it'd be the same for supra
