REIGN's REBUILD! Its a beautiful thing... (THAT IS FOR SALE) =(

Jake I followed this thread from page one. My project started 9 years ago, and is nowhere near the mods and excellent work you have done. I have put 2 sons through college and that took priority for most of those 9 years. When life grabs you by the neck it is ok to sit back and...

    Grumpy Old Men ?? Hmmmm

Weezl that Chevelle story reminds me of my 48 Plymouth Special Deluxe... Flathead six and 3 on the tree. White fenders blue body and red on bottom of the doors. I thought it was way too cool ^^

    Grumpy Old Men ?? Hmmmm

IJ, I see those posts also. Some I will never undertake simply due to what I want my rebuild to be, in a word as reliable as I can make it. I have also seen those with the ability have their cars burnt to a crisp due to poorly run wires or hoses, or perhaps an aging wire loom incapable of...

    Grumpy Old Men ?? Hmmmm

Just a wee bit of explanation concerning my OP title. IJ it was not intended to point a finger at you specifically, as I have read many of your helpful posts. It was also not intended to define only the older age group within this forum, I being a part of that group. It was meant to embody...

Hi all, I have been on this board far less in time than many, but have lived nearly twice as long as the majority that are subscribed. I am far past the crossroads of my life being 53, but I have learned a few things along the way. My background in the Automotive world includes ASE...

    Sun Visor Repair

You could go to the Classified area and buy a good replacement. What year is your Supra and what interior color ? I may have some laying around in good shape. Once you do get another one I highly recommend a weekly treatment of Armor All or similar. It can help prevent the aging process ^^

    Turbo A Badge

I must say that if you have a keen eye for the knock offs eBay can be a great source for Supra parts. I have probably bought well over $1000 in spare parts or needed parts on eBay. You will find vendors like Summit, TAP Recycling among many others. Rare and old HKS items, and the usual part...

    MKIII stock paint type?

Good question King. I am not certain what type was used from factory, or that it matters if your planning on having a new paint applied.

    Help Cleaning Wheels please.

If the spots are that deep you may need to use a sanding process then the steel wool and simichrome. Start with a 120 grit, then 220, 320, 400, 600, and then the steel wool. Use with a bucket of water as wet sanding goes much faster and allows the sandpaper to last much longer. If you do this...

    Help Cleaning Wheels please.

If the wheels are clear coated, the only way to remove the problem is to remove the clear coat and then polish and clear coat again, or simply keep it polished once a week ^^

What do you guys do when there is a rusted bolt?

Another vote for PB Blaster, however even that will fail sometimes. If you use even a propane torch and heat the nut only ( so it will expand ) this works well also. I use acetylene. It really depends on where the nut is, and what component it is connected to. PB Blaster is the safest way...

    Help Cleaning Wheels please.

It is spelled SIMICHROME POLISH, made by Happich. You can purchase at most any Motorcycle shop, or eBay, or Google it ^
