I wouldn’t run more than 18 psi on pump. At 20 psi you are in very dangerous territory, especially if you get "other than 93" from the pump. It happens, just because you pay for 93 doesn’t always guarantee you are getting 93.

I would go full 2J. You can get Crower 2J cams for mid $600 new or used HKS for around the same price. I sold my HKS cams for $650 because I decided to run the stockers. I should be putting down 480 easy to the wheel on a safe tune which is plenty for the street.

Jay you can sell the 1J harness and stinger and go with a MKIV harness and MKIV ECU as an option. I never plan to see north of 600's on my setup and guys are making solid 700's on the MKIV ECU with the MAP ECU piggy back. Just an option but you can run the 1J harness and stinger if you are...

It wasnt the cost that I was frowning about, it was the 8 week or more wait time only to find out the new seal came in damaged. Now awaiting the replacement.

For the sunroof? Champion Toyota can get one from Japan. It is $155 plus shipping. Ask me how I know :( Well, there is one turbo 92 sunroof that I know of....mine. But it started out as a NA :)

Yeah, the factory sunroof was only available in 91 and 92. I have not seen a turbo model with a sunroof, only targas or hardtops.

I sold a long block with no turbos for $475. That was pretty cheap, but the motors are not worth much. Another reason to swap if you ask me. Once the intial swap cost is done, ownership costs are next to nothing if you grenade the motor.

It does seem that most of the sunroofs are on NAs now that you mention it. Every 91 and 92 that I have seen with the sunroof have been NAs. Odd...

They are not common but there are several of us here that have them.

The GT45 and 550cc injectors are not a match made in heaven. You either need a smaller turbo 61mm-63mm on 550's or larger injectors like 720's or higher with a turbo that large. Nice looking build though.
