Thanks for the thread link 3p. I will be installing a ps filter within the week.
And Jetjock, I would like to thank you for your help. It seems as though my car is becoming to have more and more of your mods and ideas like the industrial 3 way pneumatic valve for the heater control, ignitor...
I've had the car since 2004. But its only been the last two where I did the repair work myself instead of paying "mechanics". When the car was NA, it suffered 4 BHG and each time being repaired by these mechanics. So within the last two years I really took it upon myself to do my best to learn...
Going back six months ago I noticed the temp gauge raising above the normal 1/3 mark only on the highway. After running a compression, leak down, and block test, it turns out my radiator was clogged.
So I upgraded to a two row aluminum radiator. But before I installed the new radiator, I...
^This. The little rod that connects to the master cylinder is the one you want. Threaded out=higher engagement Threaded in= lower engagement

I've noticed in almost every post you write in any thread I always end up reading a lot! Looks like I...
For reference I thought I would post my findings....
After finding a fuel pressure tester that would fit the CSI banjo bolt, I noticed the fuel pressure was always at 40PSI. After further investigation it turns out I had hooked the fuel pressure vsv backwards so that it would not allow vacuum...
I bought a ct26 off of a mr2 about 8 years and with it came this part. I sold the turbo awhile ago but still have this part. Any idea what it is? Boost controller maybe?
Thanks
Yes on throttle body adjustments, TPS and dashpot all set to TSRM specs. Car has a W58. And only code is 34 for fuel cut
After reading that post, would you mind to elaborate on "high average load over the current drive cycle" and how I would go about testing? (if possible)
