GrpA: LOL if you look into a Toyota Reservoir it has a fine mesh screen at the bottom to stop large particles getting into the pump!
I run the plastic NA reservoir on mine and was pissed it was $300+ for a new one so spent hours cleaning it out! ;)
AJ and Will are right 99% of it is in the Prep work!
Here's a pic of my old 240z I painted at home in the garage taken a few days after the paint job.
No cutNpolish straight off the gun!
(notice the floor is green from overspray)
No probs!
I was in the same boat not long ago after a long break from cars!
CT as in CT26 the stock Mk3 Turbo as fitted by the factory.
They're quite small but nice and punchy for street driving and will go to 12 Psi.
You have a few alternatives for the Turbo drain, you can drill...
Ummm I did say on a bigger better flowing Turbo NOT on a CT!
Some of the guys will jump in with what a CT will make at 12 psi but my guess is it might make around a 50% increase in power from your old NA if everythings done right!
Most of what you're doing is just a bolt in so difficulty...
Kurt: No probs and as always very welcome!
I haven't ran em yet but quality/strength and nice pin oiling are key points on my new Ross slugs! :)
They're some seriously beefy pistons!
