CNG is easy to do as it uses much the same hardware as the LPG I run daily.
(Compressed Natural Gas) Where it falls over is the infrastructure to support it again no one wants to spend the $$$ to set up a distribution network.
Any of the heat dispersant coatings would work and are thin enough not to affect the balance of the disc. (Ceramic may if it's not applied evenly)
I've been thinking about this for my Mk4 TT rotors/AP Racing 4 spot calliper combination as they don't cover the full face of the rotor.
Clean safe reliable affordable mass public transport would help a lot but no one wants to spend the $$$ on infrastructure as Govt's are only interested in winning another term so won't do anything unpopular!
LOL now if I were to ever turn you can rest assured it wouldn't be for you Siman! (The term "beaten with the Ugly Stick" or "Fell out of the Ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down" spring to mind! Not to mention "Head Like a Smashed Crab" ) ;)
Our heads have a great port design to start with so any port work is just cleaning up what's there and blending any sharp edges (Yamaha know what they're doing)
There are no glaringly bad areas so there's not a lot to be done.
Even the short turn radius is good so I'm confident I won't be...
ROFLMAO glad I wasn't eating/drinking when I read this!
(would be cleaning the monitor and KB now if I were!)
(replace "can't have" with "don't want" and ya would be more accurate!)
LMAO not even sure where it is I'll have a look and see if I can find it!
<edit> Just went out and had a look I might have chucked it out! DOH
If it turns up it's yours!
(from memory I used a stock hose with the large brittle end chopped off and replaced with the adaptor and a short piece...
Yep time to pull the glovebox plastics and start checking all the connections under there then maybe pull the Climate Control and check it out!
(some CO Contact cleaner may help in there)
Sorry can't remember what it cost but knowing Toyota it was expensive for a piece of rubber!
The Adaptor I made was just a piece of aluminium centre bored then turned to suit the 2 different sizes nothing fancy as it was only menat to be on there till Monday ;) (well 8 years from Monday as...
It has 2 different sized end Bandit so a new stock one is best!
(I made an adaptor to use normal hose ages ago as Toyota weren't open on the weekend when I needed it and ran it for 100.000 kms then in the last rebuild I finally got around to replacing it)
Miggles: When I first got my car it did this from time to time and on a trip back from Sydney in winter it stopped working totally (Iceing the screen at 120 kph was NOT fun!)
I finally traced it to a faulty climate control switch assembly changed that and it's been fine for 8 years now!
