    Anyone running a GT35R on a 7mgte

4067 is a hybrid so probably won't be listed anywhere Jake. There's a thread discussing them on SF and one of the shops just announced they have stock. The 3540R is listed as a 700hp turbo but doesn't have the overhead you require.

Good to hear! Might be an idea if you start a rebuild thread with some pics ;)! (now we have an official rebuild section)

    Anyone running a GT35R on a 7mgte

    William: Yep certain I measured mine. As I said a 3540R is a very different beast ;)! Direct comparison GT3540R to a CT26. 35 ..comp wheel 2.41/3.22 CT26 ...comp wheel 1.75/2.50

    ignition for 89 N/A-T

Chucky: I made up my own harness. Jump onto MSD's site and ask one of the tech guys in the forum it may take a little while to get an answer though!

    Anyone running a GT35R on a 7mgte

    GT3540R has a 61mm inducer and an 82mm exducer it's a very different beast from a normal GT35. (normal 35 is a 57/76mm wheel)

    ignition for 89 N/A-T

I removed a bunch of the lobes from the reluctor so it would have 6 firing events to trigger a standalone ECU. I'm not sure if MSD have an amplifier that will be a lplugNplay using the stock NA ignition though. On my new motor I've been running 2 x MSD Dis4 amplifiers and 6 x MSD CDI coils...

    metal head gasket thickness.

Yep only hassle is our heads tend to anneal when they've been overheated a few times and go soft :(

I probably would have gone for a 2mm gasket if I wanted to run 14 but if you put some good gas in it you should be safe (always assuming everything else is right)

LOL thought you said funds were tight? Even a basic rebuild on a 7M is expensive Joel :( Better NOT to hurt parts before the rebuild.

** URGENT PROB! Pls read! **

AJ: The horizontal shelf is much bigger, think of the pickup there is a big enough hole in the baffle for it to fit through! Maybe jacking up the back of the car would help but it still might not roll forward as it's a hex key so will probably be sitting on a flat (I'm assuming Petes used a...

LMAO Joel! The "Gee Whiz" factor of 14 psi is far outweighed by the "Oh Shit" factor of a BHG ;)

The Block needs to be very smooth for the HKS gasket to work I believe it's one of the more fussy MHG's.

Chucky: I modded it to fire a Wolf ECU.

Correct 10 degrees. I'd even back the boost down to maybe 10 psi in case it spikes on a hard pull. As I said detonation will kill it so better safe than sorry!

Were the Block and Head surfaced for the HKS?
