    Shaeff's buildup (400rwhp)

Shaeff: It's not so much the stock mount is restrictive it's more that the Cooler circuit has it's own 40 psi relief valve which blows off and dumps any pressure above 40 that the pump will make after shimming. :( Add the squirters into this as an organised leak and the 7M GTE pump is moving...

    Group A's group a rebuild

My guess is "CFM" will no longer be an adequate way of measuring and we'll need to use "RPM" (rooms per minute) ;)

    Group A's group a rebuild

Just curious Steve! I'm betting it's a SHITLOAD of air moving around :)!

    7m revability discussion

Nick: As long as the Combustion Chamber isn't shrouding the valves the Bore shouldn't affect it, on a 7M when you go OS Valves the CC does Shroud the intake so it needs to be laid back some. On our motors there isn't enough spacing to go larger than 1mm os on all 4 valves so it will work fine...

Worn wheel bearings, what are the symptoms?

SB:Sorry if I mislead you (I posted late at night DOH) I meant if there's any play in the bearing it will cause a noise. As for the mystery rattle there's a bunch of stuff back there that can rattle when worn, does it sound metal on metal?

    Group A's group a rebuild

Steve: Yep litres from the Turbo Comp out to the inlet valves!

Worn wheel bearings, what are the symptoms?

No by shims I mean the thin metal plates that sit in between the brake pads and the pistons in the callipers.

    7m revability discussion

SB: Agreed in hindsight a 2JZ would have been a better option but I hit the point of no return a ways back so will see the 7M through......

Worn wheel bearings, what are the symptoms?

SB: Yep Mine was grumbling when they were on their way out. WM: Squealing could be a lot of things from glazed pads to missing antisqueal shims/clips/springs. The "squeak" would have me concerned though.

Looking for LSD options, er, UPGRADES... :)

I don't drag and have 285/35/18's so don't think I'll have either a problem or traction with my 4.1 Torsen :) ! I love how drivable it is as my 4.30 LSD made the car an understeering pig!

Looking for LSD options, er, UPGRADES... :)

Jakes a drag racer so I don't think a Torsen will cope with his 500+ hp AM.

Worn wheel bearings, what are the symptoms?

SB: The bearings are pressed into the hubs and have no adjustment.

What in the hell is that?

Mine does (when I have an engine that works ;) )

    Lifter Tick...Tranny fluid trick safe?

I do it as I like the inside of the motor to be clean can't say I've ever heard shim rattle/valve noise in a correctly setup 7M.

    Check engine?

LOL typical! Shaeff has a rewire kit that makes sorting it really easy!

Power Steering pump removal ( making space?)

Jon: I have trouble believing you just wrote that! Your talking about your new motor/combination yet you say you need to be rich to buy a $300 rack? You enjoy driving the curves I'd think new precise steering would be right at the top of your list of must haves? I got my rack and pump...

Power Steering pump removal ( making space?)

As I said can't you buy a NEW Mustang rack there?

Power Steering pump removal ( making space?)

Jon: Find a nice windy downhill section shut the motor off and coast down it then decide if that's what you want all day every day. (you'll have enough brakes for one or two applications so keep this in mind) (surely a new Mustang rack can be bought cheap there?)
