It's not that they're not balanced (they are) it's they're not dampened that hurts our motors Jake! The stock one is 2 pieces an inner and an outer with vulcanised rubber between, due to the length of our cranks you get a bit of a whip and the balancer/damper acts as a shock absorber.

Don't have a lot of lip/offset but are 255/35/18's and 285/35/18's on 8" and 9" HR104 rims.

No! Very bad for our motors Jake! I was a bit freaked at the idea of spinning an 18 year old balancer to 8000+ so bought a new one an alternative might be the ATI one Figgie had them make!

Might drop off at around the 5000 rpm mark. I used a .63 on my old GT30R and could tell the 7M wasn't breathing as well as it needed to.

I'm older and crankier ;) I have SF as "read only" and if SM ever went the same way I wouldn't hesitate to back away but our Mods seem much more able to keep the trolls in line here!
