    I just scrapped off the black stuff cleaned it with paint thinner then painted it along with the motor!

    Ummm when I said "Drop the diff end" I meant drop the Diff end of the drive shaft NOT drop the Diff! ;)

    The 3rd cover has a black hard material on it stock, I stripped mine off and painted it as it was chipped badly.
