Brian: Apart from slotting the subframe and making larger diameter cams for the stock pins I can't think of an easy way to do this on our cars.
I corrected the rear on mine after lowering it by making 15mm shorter lower transverse arms to get the adjusters back in the middle of their range.
Jon: :(
Steve: I considered doing it as a twin 3540R setup but management becomes a bit of an issue but I guess batch fire on the ignition isn't too much of a compromise!
They're a beautiful motor!
Steve: Either did we!
I can get one for $12000 and actually thought about doing it.....
I believe they're in a Century big limo barge thing!
Joel: Yep that's it :)!
Steve: LMAO not to mention you'd need a 2nd 7M to spool it!
Jon: It's early morning here! 8:30am
Yep that sounds more like what I'm used to when looking at diesels turbos!
Wonder why Holset do it this way?
Jon: Whoo hooo Diesel Turbos have changed since I last played with one :)!
Steve: Which Comp did you get?
94mm wheel is a 56 trim and the 102 is a 53 trim.
Jon: what is this "Lag" you speak of? ;)
Diesel turbo's are usually pretty big on the exhaust wheel and smaller than a gas turbo on the compressor side so I wonder what it's response was like on the 2.2?
Are you certain the old oil was 10/30?
If the old owner had 20/50 in it you'd notice a big difference.
Personally I wouldn't run 10/30 in a Supra but it doesn't get as cold here.
