    Driz: It's actually raising the comp slightly as the stock composite compresses to 1.37mm from memory! The 7M really wakes up if you let it breathe with nice cams! Bryan: Any ideas on how much power is needed to put a Mk3 into the mid 10's?

    Jake: I thought the 2J's were wider bore spacing? (ie: longer crank) 86mm bore stock and appear to have more meat between cylinders.

    as long as it hasn't gouged up the walls you'll probably get away with a flexhone and slap it together till ya can get the replacement built! I wouldn't run it as it is though :(

    It's a good idea to run the dremel over ALL of the sharp edges on the block! (Took me a couple of hours to deburr mine inside and out!)

    Just thought I'd post this up taken from the above pic! Where I've put the arrow is the start of a stress riser that if left unchecked may end up as a crack from the steam hole to the headbolt hole! I have a couple of blocks here with cracks in this location , an easy way to help prevent...

    Aaron: Thanks! Driz and I have been talking in PM's and it's all cool now! He has a lot of drag related questions such as how much HP will be needed to get a Mk3 into the mid 10's so I'll pass that to you guys that know such things! ;)
