    Another option (but expensive) Is to go Hard face welded cams ground to your own specs that will keep you in the stock thickness range for shims and use shimless buckets! I really hope HPF comes through with the new billet cams though as contrary to popular belief a good pair of cams does...

    Ignorant? me? The 7M has some specific quirks for sure but it's still a motor and what I said holds true. Sealing the head is ALWAYS going to be an issue with a 7M but in your case doubly so with the combination you want to run. Tell ya what good luck on your build I hope it goes...

    Same dyno same driver same settings and as close as you can get to the same temp/humidity and you'll get good comparative numbers. As for comparing XX Dyno to YY Dyno bzzzzz never going to give an accurate comparison as noted earlier the operator can make it show any number. I'm with DB...

    Using an 84mm bore mhg on an 85mm bore?

    You might end up with the edges of the MHG glowplugging and causing preignition :( 7M pistons pop out the bore a touch at TDC but I'm not sure if it's enough to allow them to hit the gasket.

    Yaaaayyy there's my 1 for this thread :)! (See JJ it works!) I run a smaller header tank cooler and a filter on my steering. I spent half a day cleaning crud out of my plastic NA reservoir as a new one was $300+ AUD and the aftermarket ones didn't have the mesh screen!
