    Garrett GT3076R power

full boost by 3200?? should be more like 2000, that turbos on the smaller side, i would DEFINATLY recomend the gt3582R (gt35/40) THAT turbo will be full boost 3200 and 500 horsepower capable. That 30/40 would be too small on a 7m, the turbine would choke the motor, go with a 35/40. Ask IJ how...

first attempt at a real oil cooling circuit (need approval)

id go with regular rubber lines, braided is total over kill and expensive. unless your running 800psi of oil pressure just use regular rubber.

They don't call it FUEL CUT for nothing! (Vid and pic)

Although we kno its Fuel thats cut, A lean spike in the a/f doesnt nessesaraly mean that fuel was cut. it means there was a misfire but the A/F controller couldnt tell you if it was fuel related or spark related. "can someone tell me why a faulty injector can burn up a cylinder? and how can...

When Are Piggy Backs Not Enough?

Im really only worried about the ignition portion because the fuel side is somewhat easy to controll when you get the hang of it. Is there any way to look at what the stock timing curve looks like, desypher what part of the map you are running in and dial base timing to compensate? for...

When Are Piggy Backs Not Enough?

About when is the time that piggy backs just dont cut it? excluding the maft pro due to its timing controll. When the AFM is scaled it changes the amount of advance, and from what i understand it keeps the timing advanced from such a low airflow value. well when is the time when this becomes...

    Funny supra race

I love owning my supra because i dont see 12 of them wherever i go. Speaking of the LT1 and how great is it, i guess you never herd of the Opti-spark on the LT series. Nuff said for reliability. Darkcyde: nice :biglaugh:

Exhaust manifold and turbo elbow not moving

my turbo elbow was practacly welded to the b ack of my turbo too you need to wedge it off with something. use a very small screw driver to start with a hammer hitting the back, the ngo up to bigger ones, if your lucky you wont screw up the sealing surface.

    Funny supra race

its not very likely to run a low 13 with a completely stock LT1 f-body, unless the car is bare bones, manual everything, hardtop with slicks and skinnies, and i still doubt it. not a high enough power to weight ratio. By real 4th gen f-body you mean one with a LS1 dont you :biglaugh: arent...

    EGT readings....

i idle around 700-600F. Shouldnt go down much more then that no matter how long you sit because your still burning the same amount of fuel/air. diesels are Fuel controll so at a idle they can run as lean at 100:1 Af's. at idle they dont generate enough heat to warm up fully. thats why alot of...

    Funny supra race

:withstupi I pulled of a 13.8 in my car and raced a Z28 LT1 camaro and beat it. i think its a stretch to loose a second in the 1320 with only intake and exhaust. and i beat it more then once, both from a stop AND from a roll. so it wasnt the launch or someone getting the jump.

BHG! Now that I have that off my chest...

Just because the oil cap is a little milky doesnt mean it has a blown head gasket. it could just be condensation forming on the cap Does it smoke? if yes, what color? How much do you have to add every week? are you positive there are no leaks?
