    the fluid is cold making it thicker making more pressure witch could cause issues, unlock the throttle cable and put it back to stock. its pointless to have it locked full. Sounds like a smelly job.....

    Since all you changed is the valve shims, seems it could be the problem. are you sure you adjusted them right?

    cant free rev past 4krpm or while driving? how does it respond off boost? im guessing your talking about wastegate shims? any smoke? mods list??

    timing bet gets aligned first then worry about the distributor later. put the crank to tdc, then turn the cams till the mark on the gear is aligned straight up with thew mark on the rear cover. put the timing belt on and turn it clockwise (IIRC the direction) 2 times and verify its all still...

    heats the air in the throttle body above a specific temp that way fuel evaporates in the intake air charge and burns more efficiently.

    FFIM and FMIC are 2 different terms. Foward facing intake manifold and Front mount inter-cooler.

    Im Aware of the supras weight, thats why i posted it... Im also aware hondas are 1000lbs lighter, but they also make about 100 horsepower less so there within the same power to weight ratio... I never said it was That hard, but making a full weight honda go 12.5 on street tires will...

    A honda is like a 1j supra, all noise and no torque...... :biglaugh: The bottom line is a honda that goes faster then 12.5, would be difficult to drive daily in that configuration (slicks, race gas, no interior, Skinnies in the back...) where a supra running 12.5 would be on street tires, pump...
