Hmm, A Male, refering to something he loves as feminine and you call him gay? You make no sence. :3d_frown:
Maybe you should return to Supraforums, They take things as serious as you do over there.
Is there a bell housing that will bolt to a 7m? You would also need a converter that fits the input shaft/pump that bolts to the 7m flexplate. Also im sure theres some sort of computer control that will need to be used for it to shift.
Fitting isn't a issue, any tranny/engine/differential will...
Just because you have abs doesnt mean you HAVE to use it. If you have great brakes, good tires and are a good driver you might not use the ABS or rely on it, but theres still no downside to having abs.
ABS is like car insurance, you dont buy/have it to use it, but if you need it youll be...
If its a track car it will be even more usefull :)
My point is that it doesnt do anything but help, and going around a track would make even more sence because you would get better use of it.
T4 housing can be drilled out to fit stock manifold. Though then the stock manifold would be quite the restriction at 450-500 horsepower.
I personally wouldn't go with a upgraded ct26 unless you were keeping the boost at like 10-12psi or lower, they have too iffy of a track record to be pushed...
IJ yea i was gona pm you about the one they put in your tranny, if its available to purchase separate from a rebuild.
Jdub, any idea of the parts that were put in the IPT tranny? i know they said valve body mods and whatnot and something about new sprags but they dont fully specify if there...
Thats strange how they broke on 300-350hp motors while IJ and a few others are past that mark without such issues.
IJ had his tranny built and listed an "uprated intermediate sprag" in the parts list so there must be someone out there making stronger ones.
Jdub, its not that i dont believe you, i just want to see more cases of it. i want to make sure its a viable weak point and not a fluke.
The whole point of this thread is to see what breaks. If i said what breaks on a stock 7m there would be 100 people saying rod knock and head gasket, all with...
The regulator, regulates fuel pressure, the gauge on the FPR is what the fuel pressure is in the rail.
How much does it jump around? 1-2 psi or like 10-20?
I wasn't saying that sarcastically just in case anyone saw it that way.
Really though? i mean ive never looked at my master while performing a quick stop, what flexes? the firewall or the booster? i cant imagine the actually master flexes.
