    I could understand if there was a performance gain to be had by removing it but to be effective you'd need at least a 5mm hole in the cap and no way known would I be driving a car around like that it's insane! It's just another "Cletus Mod" :nono:

    Snot: That's cool it's just the amount the Crank has been ground 10/10 = 10 thou undersize on the Rods and Mains. Our Cranks can't go more than that without an expensive Niteride and Heat Treatment. A new Genuine pump shouldn't be more than that. <edited to correct my brainfart>

    but true... Buy a JDM plastic cannister and hide it up under the plastic inner guard this way it's safe legal gets rid of the big arse metal cannister.

    Be careful the Hardening on our Cranks is quite shallow, 10/10 is safe.

    Justin: I have 15.000 KM's at least on my AEM's with 0 issues! Not sure what's going on with yours.... Maybe a dirty thread in the Cam nose gave you a false reading on the Tq Wrench?
