Up on the pedal where the Clutch Master Cylinder pushrod is there's a locknut, loosen that then screw the rod into the clevis to lower the pedal height/actuation point then lock the nut up!
Just make sure you have full release+ a few mm.

To get the Al shaft as strong as the steel shaft it will be thicker in the walls so will be quite stiff (Don't know if you mountain bike at all but steel frames are more lively than Al for this reason).
The Al shaft will dampen the shock loads but each time it does this it's work...

A few things I've noted from this build.
The new motor is the smoothest running 7M motor I've built to date.
There is a noticable "Lope" to the idle now and I put this down to the Lighter Crank, Damper and pistons I'll see if I can tune it out.
