LOL probably find 2 would seal quite well as there's so much gasket material it can flex to fill any gaps ;)
(that and not enough compression to ever detonate)
It has to do ugly things to the squish and efficiency of the motor at cruise though.
If you pull the fitting out a bit you'll see a notch cut into the side of it.
The Tab I'm talking about is a piece of flat metal say 10mm wide x 15mm long with an 8mm hole in one end.
Viper: Dunno just seemed an odd place to put em ;)
(It can't help but I'm not sure how much it will affect the stock coils as they're designed to sit up there anyway, Iv'e seen a few guys run em up on the firewall above the cam covers)
Dude if I had a problem with you you'd know about it.....
You're overthinking things here to a power of 10.
I'm NOT going to analyse every single post I read here I'm sorry I'm not a young man I don't have that many years left.
Your idea was a complete failure and my elaboration...
Aaron: Correct the stock hardening is Induction but it's quite expensive to set up for so most shops don't have the facility to do it.
You can usually get away with a 10 thou cut on 7M cranks so this leads me to believe Toyota didn't use a lot of power during the process and the hardening...
If your car wasn't bought and registered in Japan it's NOT JDM......
Here we look down on JDM cars as they're usually bought in cheap then have to be modded to receive Australian compliance and still sell for less than an Aussie delivered version of the same car.
Also don't believe all...
20' of 15+ year old wire doesn't help.
I run a 30a relay right at the starter so the only load the stock wiring/relay see is the coil in it and it 100% cures any problems I've had in the past.
