If you run a stock tach and a standalone at the same time you will notice the stock tach is inaccurate by around about 200rpm.
I would trust what the standalone was telling me over the stock tach as stock is dampened quite a lot so a little sluggish.
+1 is plenty..
The bigger issue is our motors tend to use Oil even when running correctly so if you're on a stock fill it's very easy to chew through 1/2 a Qt or so in between checks then you hit the twisties or have to brake hard and it's RK time :(
Running +1 means you should never have...
Guys: Put DOWN your Light Sabres this really isn't worth an argument Ant was just using it as an analogy not a literal comparison......
Now put your hats back on and sit quietly ;)
Seen em in the past but the output was ugly non colour and required a LOT of cleanup, this one is amazing.
It'll be a thermoset resin.
I have a 3 axis CNC Mill here at home but a lot of times I prototype I don't want the part in metal so that would be great.
Just sounds like a typical hacked up A70.......
These were expensive cars when released and with service and parts being very expensive most have been neglected or hacked so first thing should be to go right through the car methodically and unhack it.
Ric: Take a small punch and tap the crank end of the key down into the crank it's curved and will pop the other end up enough to get a screwdriver under it to lever it out!
Happiness is a Tight Keyway :)
Sin: Yes +1qt at least.
The problem with our motors is the pan isn't baffled very well and once running you pump a qt or so upstairs so if you're down a little and have to jump on the brakes or get enthusiastic in the twisties you can uncover the pickup......... (ask how I know)
+1qt is...
In a correctly functioning cooling system even if overfilled the reservoir will find it's own level in a couple of days and stop pukking coolant...
Any longer than this and there's a good chance you have "issues", I'm not going back through the thread but have you done a NAPA BHG test yet?
