Only 4 layer MHG's I know of are the HKS Stoppers but the 4th layer is really thin and wraps around the middle layer around the bores.
And the vast majority of them find their way online and stun the noobs with their "knowledge"

As always with an EBC start very conservative and work your way up making sure to verify what each change has done (I did a 32 psi pull by accident that on most motors would have been fatal) ;)
The primary pipe will always be + a couple of degrees compared to the collector so soon as the motor makes temp the pipes will expand and lock in place and seal.
In the old days when using a cast header I'd use this type of joint to minimise cracking.
