This is my buddy's setup before he got rid of his supra last summer. The turbo is a WH1C, which is the generation prior to the HX series with an undivided t3 footprint. Similar boost characteristics to my pre-1998.5 HX-35 coming on early 3k rpm with the help of the FFIM and also had a big FMIC...
You were the first person to come up with an actual date for the event thus Law of the Universe states that you're in charge. I don't make these things up, that's just the way the universe works. It is your destiny. Should you avoid your destiny, the fate of countless Colorado Supra owners will...
Everyone always has something they need to do on their Supra. I have everything I need for the foglight rewire mod just in-case the car runs perfectly thus I have nothing to do.
If we do settle on Pike's Peak Raceway...that'll just make me want to get coilovers and a BBK. Sometimes I just...
Likewise, I'd like to get my baby back together...although I finally got the rotating assembly back and the upgrade bug hit me again. One more week added to my build because for some unknown reason, I absolutely had to have my pistons ceramic coated on top and teflon impregnated on the skirts...
This is what i'm sticking in once I put the engine back together, Zerex G-05.
Although, according to valvoline's website, the details state "Low-silicate, low-pH and phosphate-free formula" which I'm assuming is a marketing error considering below 7 is acidic and a low ph in my mind means...
That's how I got duped into buying a money pit.....errr I mean convinced myself I wanted a supra. Just happened to visit a buddy who was hosting a meet at his house.
Dyno was actually done at 700ft in Ohio with no exhaust wrap outside at 103*F on 93 octane with conservative/safe timing/tune for being a daily driver. My intake hardpipe above the exhaust partially melted/warped during the session. I'm on a street tune now with exhaust wrap and obviously...
1) I would just get your stockers turned and save up for a BBK since there's nothing worth getting in between.
2) I believe just about all of Tein's series of coilovers are compatible with their dampening control box which is a box that controls motors on each coilover to adjust the dampening...
One of the other reasons I left Dayton/Cincy for Denver. The only thing great about Ohio is that when you say you're from there, no one is bothered by it other than Michigan.
What am I forgetting? Oh yeah, welcome OP! You totally mislead me into thinking you were from Hawaii...if I ever find...
How's the 1J coming along?
P.S. I saw in another thread you and your wife are looking for MKIV's...great, more competition for me as well as having another set of eyes to search for them. :biglaugh:
I think they would shine better in real life but overall they add a dullness to the car's appearance.
Maybe this will help a little, http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33190&highlight=white+supra*+thread
I wanted the 5zigen fn01r-c's in bronze when I had my black supra but I...
Replace the climate control box with a junker you can test. The button should stay down/pressed and should be lit above it. I had that issue with the windshield vent and floor vent button not staying lit and just swapped in a working box.
Rent one of those U-stor places big enough to fit the car and engine on a stand and have someone trailer your car there. Poof, you have a place to work after you add lights and a heater. Or do you lack tools?
Seriously, anything non-7M is going to kill your wallet and time exponentially compared to dropping in a stock rebuilt 7M with MHG and ARP head studs which will do 400rwhp fine with supporting fuel.
