    Holset oil feed restrictor sizing

I noticed my pre-1998.5 HX-35 with 8 compressor blades (not post 1998.5 w/ 7-blades & undivided T3) has a 2.5" I.D. past the turbine to a 3" V-band. Obviously, a bolt on housing/elbow would yield a 3"+ I.D. but it came with this detachable V-band housing (picture attached). That has to kill some...

    Holset HX35

Also running -10 drain and HKS long runner manifold with adapter. FFIM, IS300 coils, and a checkvalve pcv system are soon to be added this winter. Turbo87targa: You can check my setup out when I get it back together. I'm in SW Denver and will more than likely make a trip to CO Springs to...

If there are enough interested from CO Springs/Pueblo, I was looking at Castle Rock's Rock Park. I think we have about 30% in this thread from Springs/Pueblo and that would be a nice halfway for both Denver and them. I google map'd Rock Park but have never been there so If anyone knows anything...

Buying 7m-GTE for rebuild and have questions

Easiest would be to find a complete car/engine and rebuild from there. My first supra (black one), I made the mistake of getting a rolling chassis w/ ecu/harness and a disassembled long block missing sensors and parts. I originally had a complete rebuilt engine I was going to buy that got sold...

Your current Forza 3 project car :)

Dear god...i need to pick up this game and possibly a new gamer tag since the roommate owns the xbox. I thought there would never be another game with the Mkiii after Gran Turismo 2. I tried playing GT2 awhile back on my big screen and holy pixilation blocks, I couldn't tell what was going on...

My baby has been without an engine since October. I'm really getting beyond aggravated with the shop it's at just for new bearings, Crower rods, and an engine balance taking this damn long.

    Engine Stand

Using the 1 kip Harbor Frieght stand as well. It supports an assembled 7M just fine but be sure to mount it as close to the center of mass as possible or it will be a pain to rotate.

    It's a BEAST!

Congrats, be safe and have fun. I typically buy a lottery ticket every time my car runs perfect since it's a lucky day.

    what brand wastgate/size too use?

I have the 40mm synchronic. It's nice for adjustability with the preload screw to dial in the boost you want as well as change where (pressure wise) the wastegate starts lifting. A lot of people have had issues setting boost with them, you can read all about it on synapse's forums off their...

I have the 8-blade aka pre-1998.5 hx35. Full boost is around mid-low 3,000rpm with my exhaust wrapped hks long runner manifold and turbo blanket. I love it for the decent power/spool and especially since I bought it used with no shaft play for $200 cash. I'm running an external 40mm wastegate...

MKIII vs MKIII... got my @$$ handed to me in a big way...

I'm sick of driving a 4 Liter Jeep that goes nowhere when I floor it and gets half the mpg's of the supra. I can't "merge" with traffic like I used to :naughty:. I saw a pre 89 white mkiii in Lakewood off Alameda/Union back in October but no others supras since moving here in July. I've...

    Twincharged Goodness

It appears to be about 0.5bar (7.3psi) a hair over 2,000rpms; about 1.0bar (14.7psi)) by 3,000rpms; and about 2.2bar (32.3psi) by 4,000rpms. Took a bit of play/pause to get a focused shot of the gauge.
