Green one is the same as my first car 5.0L V8 4 speed I painted it a darker metallic green shortly after I got it running (Bought as a shell from a wrecker)
Fitted it with a built 327 then got another with a 350 that got transplanted with a Crower Injected 427.
It's just basics...
The Chassis is a terrible path considering it's spot welded together with seam sealer or corrosion between every joint anolng the way.
"Good" cable has many fine strands and this is how it can carry much more current than cheap wire of the same physical size.
DON'T use the chassis as a ground path......
Before the resident experts jump up and down saying "I did it and it works fine" It's NOT the correct way to do it and the only reason they get away with it is the low comp 3.0L engine.
Never used their bolts but I've seen studs relax on EVERY 7M build I've done doesn't seem to make a difference if new or used.
I retorque every time now.
Dunno fingers crossed you "should" be ok just get it done asap.
(there are quite a few posts on the correct procedure)
Cams stay in...
I was ignoring the start of the red run as it's so far out I'd have expected them to abort if that was a power run without on/off the throttle...
Wasn't there and don't know the shop but as I said there are a lot of Cowboys here :(
(not enough data to say without stripping the motor)
