you cna try polishing it out, but the paint might just be getting thin and showing the primer now.. might need a partial respray to fix it...
if it was mine....I cut the exhaust a bit closer and get new wheels (wouldn't want to risk popping the bead off, plus I see too many mexicans with streched tires around here)

People really do identify you by your car, especially as a Supra owner, and I wouldn't have it any other way...

for referance guys, the part is known as "Insulator, Hood" in the TSRM, don't hear anything about fire supressant...
If you can get it still, the stock mat is in the $200 range, so I'd go with a new one before that dynamat stuff...
don't worry about replacing the first cat, it's not necessary (cold startups maybe..)
I passed with a DDP and stock main cat...
check your timing, check/change your plugs, and change the O2 sensor...
square mounts aren't as smooth as the later style (2J's are stiffer than them as well IIRC)
or it could just be the 7M crank....
Haven't tried dropping an engine in with the later style, but the square mounts are easy to drop in...
