It's up to you, if you're SERIOUSLY going to consider turboing it, I'd use the GTE block. You'd have the oil return and feed for the turbo, could loop the lines for the turbo coolant...

the cheap bulb (OEM replacement at a parts store) is about the same brightness as the old sealed beam I had, but the housings make a LOT better use of the light.
