putting the new one's on?
either they're already at the right torque, but iff not, the tip of the bolt is usually a smaller size so you can use 2 hand wrenches... or it has an allen head in it
*sigh* too much to comment on here..
The pattern from the HID's will depend completely on the design of the housings you get, get good quality Hella E-codes and you get a nice cutoff. Yes they have high beams (the bulb is actually moved back and forth, hard to explain, but it works)
Yes...
I'd stick with it as I doubt you'll get much of your investment back...
pull the DDP and get it re-routed or buy a re-routed one, get it tuned and enjoy it...
tuned and if you control your right foot enough, you'll more than likely get at least the same milage as the 4runner, if not better...
jeff: my car is an 89 and it had the smaller pulley...
PPS gives TONS of road feel at higher speeds, low speeds is great in a parking lot...
I like my luxury, hence why I haven't taken any features out of my car...
most torque wrenches aren't lifetime warrantied, and if they are, they're rediculously expensive...
use it, put it back to the lowest setting and store it, if in doubt, have it calibrated...
stock ride height is OK...as long as you have a lip (even if it's the factory one)
sawblades look good either black or polished...
personally if you have a bodykit without a wing it looks far too front heavy (the car naturally looks that way anyway stock because of the long nose)
I'm a...
know what I use simple green for?
cleaning my tires as it removes the brown and leaves them looking like new tires without being shiney with crap on them that makes dust stick...
non-JDM taillights here, I just modified them...
JDM is alright as it's the original market for these cars, and they had the largest aftermarket there (not to mention dealer options)
Much like I prefure Silvia's over 240's... they just look cleaner
soaking it in it...
it will soften paint very quickly, and will remove the gloss quite fast as well...
I wouldn't use it as it's too harsh for painted surfaces IMHO, normal dish soap will work just as good and do no harm...
simple green is bad for plastics and rubber (will dry them out)
imagine this.....use an ACTUAL engine degreaser/detailer?!!??!
I swear you people, the cans are cheap and will clean so much better WITHOUT harming anything...
