RonR's FFIM's come in 2 varieties, and one does keep A/C and is made to do pretty mcuh what you want it to do. he also builds to order IIRC Duane picked up something like 40HP from the FFIM alone, and he was at a much lower power level at the time...

could be any number of things... mainly the electric fan pulling too much power, ect... temp fluctuations are common with air bubbles in the system, make sure to burp the system. new fan, fan clutch, water pump should help also, did you get a new shroud? is it attached well? aux...

I agree on the STi/WRX though the new one (not the new NEW one coming out) has grown on me... the new one looks like a hyundai, it is lacking a very critical thing that all the WRX lines has had before it, aggressive lines including fender flares. Sorry, they completely killed the damn...
