well, if you're going to buy a full 'kit', get a properly engineered one. Get the expensive one. If you're willing to do the fabrication yourself, get a universal piping kit that has a bunch of bends, straight peices, etc (you'll need to plan the layout first, then see which kit has the peices...

Well, I got my replacement pump from tlo86 (thanks again!), got it installed.. and no more noise! I also talked to toyota, and they said dex III is okay to use in the rack, but he wouldn't go with anything else (just dex 2 or 3). Man, its good to not hear that whine.

Got the new power steering pump installed today, bled the system, and took her for a drive.. no more awful noise! YAY! ... Then... I got ballsy. I BUILT BOOST! WHISHHHHHHHHHHHHHH PPSSST WHIIIISSSHHHHHH!!! Man I've missed that sound. Car is still a ways off from being out on the public...

How important is the P/S pump Air Control Valve?? In swapping mine over from my bad pump to the new one, one of the nipples broke off. Do I need to whip out some plastic welding stuff and get it back on, or can I just bypass it?
