The whole point of synchros is so you DONT have to double clutch. You can, it won't do any damage.. but the point of synchros is to match gears at different RPMs. You only need to blip the throttle when you're really high on the revs, and even then, just depress the clutch, shift and blip...

I am totally flabbergasted as to why anyone would go to BB or CC to get an audio installation. None of them do a good job, and very rarely do they even sell you decent components. Audio installation isn't hard......

I think you're missing what we're saying: the clutch does not have synchros. They're part of the internals of the transmission, and require a complete transmission disassembly to replace.

Yep. All the IGN wire is is a switched 12v to tell the stereo its time to turn on. Only wires you need to turn on the deck are constant +, ign, ground.

what type of deck is it? did you wire it to a different power source? take it out of the car, and wire it straight to the battery. Still do it? If so, i'd call the manufacturer ASAP before warranty runs out.

powering off after ejecting a disk? sounds like a wiring fault in the deck. Is it a new deck? Take it out of the car, and wire it up just so it gets power, then try the cycle again. If it does, then you probably have a bad deck. If it doesn't, theres probably a lose connection or break with...
