57 trim will make mid 400's to the wheels with supporting mods... damn close to 500hp at the crank which is double factory...

is the small heat sheild still over it? if not, that's your issue...

we have 93 around here... That's all the supra gets as well, in the summer the car is DEFINATELY down on power on those 100+ days... it's a small price to pay for making sure the motor doesn't kill itself IMHO...

won't matter so far as I know, sinc ethe adjustment screw is only to TIGHTEN the spring... Disasssemble it (it's stupid easy, same as my Type II knock-off), and see if there is some kind of spacer behind the spring cup... Check your vaccuum as well, one vaccum leak could ruin your day...

none from what I've seen it's a tight fit as the hole is smaller than the hole in the 5-speed cars, but it will still fit from what I've seen..

seems you have the same outlook many of the Japanese tuners are doing and we're catching up... the whole package is far better than building a drag car, or a gutted track car, or the VIP look... GL with it, if I didn't have tons of money dumped into the 7M I may have gone 2J as well...

bone stock 2JZGTE could fill that goal, but the wiring, ect is the hellish part... a 7M could do it quite easily as well as the 1JZ... Personally, my opinion is if I already had a 7M sitting there, I'm gonna use it since it's cheaper than buying an unknown condition engine...
