The "dirt" is normal dielectric grease, use an electical connector cleaner and then put new grease in and see if it helps.

Those bushings where NOT TRD, they where from a groupbuy and a dealership bought quite a few.
Properly maintained poly bushings work fine. Even better is the graphite impregnated poly bushings that are self lubricating...

The aux fans on the side of the radiator? Yep, when my car used to get too hot they would trip on.
If they're turning on, you're on the boarderline of overheating IMHO (since my cooling system upgrades they haven't come on)
