    Steering Rack Issues

Thanks for the support guys. I'm going to look into getting another rack from somewhere, I'm not going to go to the trouble of removing mine, taking it somewhere and letting them fuck around with it for however long while my car is off the road. The other issue is that my inner tie rod ends...

    Steering Rack Issues

So one? I was thinking I could just get a reman one and see if it works in the near future but I'd rather save myself the trouble if it won't work.

    Steering Rack Issues

My steering rack is on its way out in my JZA70. Will a North American MKIII steering rack fit or do I need to get a RHD specific steering rack from somewhere? If the North American MKIII rack won't work, where can I get a RDH steering rack (and the accompanying bushings) for a reasonable price...

Who's car is runing right now

My JZA70 has run fine since I bought it a little over a year ago. Only ever been down for upgrades, once for 2 days for an intercooler/hardpipes and once for a month and a bit for a turbo kit plus a few extras during that time as well.

    Steering Rack Question.

As the title says, I have a question about my steering rack. I have yet to personally inspect it, but I'm pretty sure my steering rack is on the way out, as well as its bushings. The problem is that my Supra is a JZA70 and my question is: Can I use an MA70 steering rack on the car? The...

    JZA70 R w/ RB26 DETT Engine

The engines are tilted like that because they run into oiling problems if mounted level and everything is designed around that accordingly in the car it came from hence the shifter position and piping routes.

    I got rear ended today.....

Good to hear, but what's the story with the insurance company? Are they going to pay or is the other guys insurance going to pay? Curious about this because I'd like to get as much info from crashes involving Supras as I can to learn what to do when dealing with insurance and accidents in case...

Hidden hood latches for carbon hoods?

This. If you don't have one, why not make a nice aluminum one the bolts in nicely(I think it would suit the car better than the stock plastic unit). A friend of mine is making an aluminum one for his Jetta and they do make a big difference in airflow. In this case, prevent the air from being...

Just caught someone stealing my soop

Unfortunately, that usually results in a shitstorm. At least up here anyway after some meth addict dragged a gas station attendant under a car for awhile. The way to do it is just have the guy "fall down" a great many times until he gets the picture not to steal things. In my experience it is...

Front brake cooling duct in place of the Fog Light

Go for it, I'd post it up in the MKIII general discussion though. I think you'll end up having to make your own though.

Front brake cooling duct in place of the Fog Light

Pretty sure you posted in the wrong section. And no, I don't know of any brake duct kit. I was under the impression the MKIII had brake ducts on the underside of the car behind the fog lamps. Mine did, until I had a custom intercooler/hardpipe setup installed.

    Howling noise When Decelertaing...

Check your tire wear, a lot of "weird" noise can be attributed to them. Check for excessive feathering and cupping. Also, it might be your wheel bearings. My Celica makes a howling noise from the rear and I'm 85% sure it's one or both of the rear wheel bearings. I haven't got around to...
