you need another bend in the hose
Turn the top coupler so the hardpipe goes straight down, then angle it back towards the front. It can't be riding on the sway bar!

no, the fingers are shifted, they should be lined up. They get the huge clamp force from stacking two diaphrams on top of eachother, and the fingers should be lined up.
It's a VERY common problem on the older RPS PP's, DON'T CHANCE IT.

Personally, I've seen too many reports of their engines being destroyed from the thrust washers wearing out prematurely from the insain loads.
Not to mention their absolutely horrible customer service...

And it's screwed as the fingers of the diaphram have shifted (all too common). It throws off the balance badly.
Don't reuse it.
Personally, I went to a junkyard, and yanked a couple.
Paid $10 for 2 of em and they both work fine (have a backup now). I took the relay apart as well and could smell anything burnt or see anything burnt.
It's a fairly complet little board, and it wasn't worth it to me to try and repair...

I've done it both ways with pulling the engine/tranny, and pulling just the tranny. Pulling JUST the tranny is CAKE, IF you have a tranny jack.

Boost creep is common with the DDP's because they don't scavenge as well, so it's not helping issues...
I'd try a 3inch elbow and normal DP and see if it went away... or a recir. DDP might work as well...

Usually sports cars and it allows fast tire changes when racing. They work great, but if you put the wrong direction thread on the wrong side of the car, they will unscrew and you get disaster...
just not worth it considering the performance of a true BBK...
