axles are identicle (and RARELY go out)
Personally, the lower gearing sucks as it just raises your RPM at cruising speeds, so unless you're drag racing it all the time, stock to the old one as you'll get far better gas milage...
Are you sure it's not that 90 degree hose that's in the left of the photo?
Could be a freezeplug like mentioned...
You'll probably have to pull the turbo and manifold to find out exactly what is leaking, so do a quick compression test to help rule out the HG...

The mounts for the fan shroud are different, this is why using the Koyo with the 7M requires customs lower brackets.
For a JZA70 it will be a true drop in radiator, and be an nice upgrade.

I had to do it to my bro's car for him because it drives me NUTS to see foggy lenses on a car...
It would have looked just like that if the car was a targa. Many of the Porsche targas are nothing more than cloth over a metal framework...
Why do I have the bad feeling they didn't mean to go that fast... how many times do you hear about stuck throttle linkages?
From what I've read, the new seals aren't any better (leak wise, though they can take more heat), but old hoses can and will leak.

The main reason I bought a new fan clutch from the dealer is that the parts stores had one part number for BOTH. It was...dinky.
Also, I had issues with oddball heat fluctuations (would stay too cold, or spike hot, ect) and I replaced my Stant T-stat with an OEM one and it's been perfect...
