I know 350Z guys that get tickets all the time for their STOCK exhaust... In the states we don't have any database on what the noise levels where from the factory, so as long as the exhuast doesn't looks like a rice cannon you can get away with it... That's why I like my exhaust ;)

that stuff that was sealing the throttlebody looks a lot like mastic used for flooring... They're doing remodeling at work and the stuff SUCKS

The oil pickup is high on these engines, so I bet it's fine. My old engine had a dent like that on the pan, didn't even touch the pickup...

Oil needs to go in FIRST, and as the system should be sucked down with a vaccuum pump, the oil will flow in on it's own. DO NOT TURN CANS UPSIDE DOWN, FLUIDS CANNOT BE COMPRESSED AND WILL DESTROY THE COMPRESSOR. Do your homework and search on these forums HARD to know what you're doing...
