    Guages not working

I searched and thought I found an answer, but really did not. Here's my issue. 1990T 5-speed dash harness, JDM 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine harness, and 2 gauge clusters. The original 1990T Auto Canadian model cluster's tach and speedometer work, however the cluster's pretty jacked up and I think I...

    2JZ VSVs

Hey guys... Dunno who else to ask or look to for an answer :-( The VSV at the top, rear of my 2JZ (above 2nd turbo) seems to be bad. Is there a way to by-pass itor replace it with something inexpensive? I used a known-good one and got better results, which is why I know that it is a BIG...

    Right Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

I had actually removed the "hub" and took it to a shop and had it pressed out/in. There is a C-clip there somewhere, but it's been years and I'm too old to remember ;-) Check the TRSM for more detail to do it right, but here's what I did. I bought the bearing for $65 from Autozone (i...

ahh shi+ need to get my car running asap

Does it still have the stock turbo and everything else intact to run, without the goodies you have? If so, I would seriously recommend fixing the BHG, but not slapping all that other stuff on, until you can afford it. Right now, you need a car to drive, to keep your job and pay for all the...

Curiosity has gotten the better of me...

I hadn't measured anything and just took Arnout's and other info as gospel. I am using the 1990 X-member, 1JZ motormounts/brackets, and bellhousing/tranny with my 2JZ setup now and the tranny still bolts up where it used to with the 7M and the 1JZ. I was wanting to avoid further...

    Lower radiator hose

R U using the one for the 2JZ-GTE? Mine fits pretty well. If it's a non-Toyota brand, sometimes you have to "cut-to-fit", which means it's generically made to fit a few different cars and you have to trim it down some for better fitment. Good luck!

    crankshaft pulley

Even this way, your car will try to move. Just gotta keep cranking down hard many times, like an impact wrench would. Never had mine come loose, so I'm sure you'll be okay. Check it often tho, just in case. E

Curiosity has gotten the better of me...

I'm using the 1J bellhousing and the R154...everything fit and stayed where it was supposed to, from the flywheel back. No other modification was necessary for the tranny to work with my 1JZ and the 2JZ.

    My 2JZ swap Update

heeeellll yeah!! :p She's so very kewl too! She's been trying to get into these forums all mornin'... so the compliment will be nice for her to see. She'd unintentionally lost alot of weight, before the last meet and some of her ASSets had shrunk some (wish I had that problem). So, she's...

    2jz mech fan

The NA fan will NOT work... recently tried again myself. I sent you a PM with details on a deal for a used TT fan/clutch that I was working on (which seems like a very good deal). Good luck!!

    My 2JZ swap Update

You're doing things the right way... having a PLAN is the most important part. I made hasty choices and it ended up costing more (time, resources, aggravation, etc).... however, it was mostly 'cause I wanted to be unique. So, I figured being the only MKIII with a 2J VVTi would be kewl... it...
