Exactly... I think these speakers are rated at 85w RMS which is lower than the 100w "max" that was on the box... Not anywhere near the car to verify, but I remember knowing that I was going to stay away from maxing-out the speakers. I'll likely remove 2 of 'em and just stay with 4 speakers...

Probably easy enuff to do a poll at SF and see how many of them are running anything over 600RWHP. It would not be that many... again, pound for pound, VVTi will work the same. The only differences was when the standalones did not have the wasted spark technology and/or tuners did not know...

The 2JZ VVTi will make the same amount of power and is tune-able as any other 2JZ. If you use a standalone (as U would with another 2JZ) that is capable of managing VVTi, you'll be fine.... JPI has done it and others too. Bottom line, if this 2JZ was in your car, you probably still wouldn't...
