    Ghetto wiring and missing pieces

If the ECU doesn't have a temp reading it assumes normal operating temp (making cold starts tough, and it won't know to pull timing if it's getting too hot, though if it detects knock it will)

Even worse...they could be Venom injectors...

    R154 5 speed hp limit...?

You can shift fast enough for the BOV not to open... They're pretty hard on their cars, not like the other lazy high powered guys that show up in Houston that roll out, floor it, let off, shift, floor it, wash, rinse, repeat...

    How many run without EGR?

The only thing you have to gain from not running EGR is less carbon buildup in the manifold... With gas prices the way they are, you're going to like not having to richen it up as well...

    Stock CT26 efficiency?

First thing you should always assume about used cars...that the previous owner was incompetant and didn't know what they where doing (unless you know otherwise). Sounds shitty, but it's the truth... Depends on the year, pre-89's had holders to stop the injectors from rotating.

    How many run without EGR?

Last I knew it didn't have timing control... It's aggressive timing coupled with less fuel when the ECU is expecting the EGR to be open. As most piggybacks trim fuel using the AFM signal, timing can't be controlled independantly and can cause issues. Someone will probably argue with me...

    How many run without EGR?

If one person can tell me a good enough reason to ditch EGR on a car without a standalone, I'd like to here it... And I'll restate this, a piggyback isn't enough control as it's fuel AND timing that are the issue. Can you get away with it? Sure, is it a good idea? Not really...

Hence my 2 pennies for a dollar comment :D It would have to at LEAST be an LT1 car... equal trade would be closer to an LS1 car by my mods these days...

    Computer Guys!

Depends on the application. Dual channel has faster access, but most of the time it's the AMOUNT of RAM, not the SPEED. I went from 512MB (2 x 256) to 1.5Gig (2 x 256, 1 x 1gig) and it's MUCH faster in everything I do... But, I think it's still using Dual Channel on the 256 sticks, as it...

    Stock CT26 efficiency?

Still, no. The electronics are identical, but it lets in more unmetered air. When my AFM went out I bought a lexus one and have been running the electronics from the lexus in my stock AFM body until I get injectors.

I take it you're running without the spare and tools? Still, that's not horribly bad for weight distribution... PS: Sick download speeds off your server EDIT: are you sure that's ALL the mods you have done to the car? :sarcasm:
