Weakest link at the dragstrip is totally different than on the street. On the street you might notice the tranny being weird, at the strip, it will just get destroyed. It's kinda like people that don't stop driving when they get rod knock. The more you drive, the more damage it does until...

DO NOT RACE IT. You have no idea how well maintained the car is. As you have an auto, get a good tranny cooler for it or you'll toast it doing drag launches. Destroying the car at the dragstip may be fun, but the track isn't going to like picking up the pieces and cleaning up the mess...
