I sheered 3 teeth off the pinion in my old toyota truck because of the stupid fucking crush sleeves they use on all toyotas stock that wear out...

That much power to the wheels is going to get expensive IMHO...
Going with nitrous or a turbo is still the cheapest way to go fast with the GE, it's not corked anywhere nearly as bad as the GTE is and you won't see power gains like the turbo guys from the same mods...

Mine did this before and I honestly can't recall what I did to correct it :(
But try this, make them go down (so turn em on) and then pull the retractor fuse, switch them off, put it back, and then try.
