Timing belt is a timing belt, especially on a non-interference engine like ours. Use whatever you can get the cheapest. Timing belt is also unlikely to be the cause of a miss. That will likely be plugs, wires, something in the ignition system.

I'd be interested to know this as well. :) Joel, I'd be willing to bet that if you ran a line straight from the turbo outlet into the wastegate, you'll be at 10-11psi. I wouldn't advise trying to set the boost controller lower than that, it's just going to be a PITA to get it working right.

I don't think so. The only people I am aware of with autos that are fast and running big torque are the folks running TH350 or TH400 autos.
