Funny, I hadn't seen those. Not sure what I think though, obviously you don't get the benefits of adjustable dampening. Spring rate has to be fixed as well... does this just get you adjustable ride height?

You bet - nice tricks. Nowdays there is a local place that sells neoprene socks - they are virtually waterproof, and warm even if they get wet anyhow. The gloves over gloves only works on the street, dishwashing gloves get torn apart in no time on the trails. :(

Nah, not that. I have worn pantyhose when biking though, it sure helps keep you warm at high speeds in the winter. Picked that trick up from the local motorcycle riding crew.
