-exhaust manifold gasket and the O2 sensor gasket are garbage
-EGR cooler gasket isn't made of high temp material so it WILL blow at some point (same as the felpro, stock gasket is a metallic compound!)
-inferior valve stem seals usually
I'd have to see pics of the rest of the gaskets, but...
Yep, small block and big block motors are different sizes and designs (heads are obvious with the odd valve and rocker setup on the big blocks).
But yes, long block is with the head, short block is just the bottom end. Neither comes with accessories.
Wiring harness was installed on the engine and then dropped into the car as a unit from the factory...
Much like some of the brackets for the steering rack and lines are accessed from the top...where there's an ENGINE in the way.
Condenser is no longer available from the dealer, but they where able to source one for me.
Just an FYI (still have all these parts sitting here to repair my system, still need to get the o-rings, possibly evaporator depending on how bad it is, flush, and the stuff to evacuate and fill...)
I see several issues with that ebay kit...
Until I see a pic of the cometic set I can't comment. I carry stone at work and will probably be buying them or OEM for my next build.
Sorry bud, but weight is a terribly consideration when talking about a tire...
Unless they're using lightweight materials (like carbon fiber) to intentionally lighten the tire, the weight is going into strength and the compound...
Wish I could find one of my old DOT halogens (think I tossed em)
DOT sends more blinding light than E-code lenses with my HID's.
Keep in mind my HID's didn't last long and I won't be buying them again and instead replacing all the lighting (headlights and fogs) sometime in the future...
Cut it open.
It's not a normal style of bushing and yes they're a bitch to replace, and stock is fine as it's not meant to give the same was a stock bushing.
Had this discussion before on the forums if I can find it...
