looks a lot cleaner, opens up some storage space, hidden if you want. i plan on stashing my audio gear there to keep it away from all the rattly stuff in the back. id guess it'd have a small effect on the curb weight of the car, but if you use enough mdf itll still be around the same weight.

thanks for the advice. so the smaller the trim, the faster the spool but the lower the top-end power? and as for A/R, larger the size, slower the spoolup but higher top-end?

unscrew the philips screw holding the bezel on the light. if youre talking about how to get the actual lens off the light, i dont think you can (sealed unit, except for the bulb opening)

definitely wouldn't mess with the structural integrity of your bottle. youd have to get it rehydro'ed afterward. why not just paint the thing...id match same color as my car. powdercoating might be free, but cleaning up from the explosion would probably cost a bit more. my 1.5¢

i thought the rings were to change the sound of the bov...at least hks came out with a gold one thatd give it a deeper sound...
