    what gas should I use?

I wouldn't suggest 82 octane on even stock boost levels. You need to be hitting the 91 octane.

    Gas War Join The Resistance!!!!

In response to bobiseverywhere's friend. The thing he doesn't seem to be taking in to consideration is the fact that the price of gas is going up disproportionately to the price of crude oil. And the difference is rising at a much higher rate than before. In all truth it should be getting...

    knock sensors...

It's cool. No offence taken. :bigthumb: I'm pretty sure I know what the knock sensor are, seeing as I’ve done the KS rewire twice on two different turbo cars. Plus I have two Knock Sensors sitting in a Ziploc bag out in storage. Here is the knock sensors on my block(a 7MGTE to avoid...

    6M Crank

I did a little digging and found that Defiant 7m was right about the 5m crank. Not that I would question Defiant on anything to do with this motor, especially where stroke is concerned. But I needed to know more about the 5m crank before I opened my mouth again. Like Defiant 7m said the 5m crank...

    6M Crank

The only difference between the 6M crank and the 7M crank is the 7M crank is fully balanced. This makes it heavier. More reciprocating weight. So Toyota lowered the redline on the 7MGE & GTE engines to 6250 RPM. The 7MGE & GTE with the 6M crank had a 6500 RPM redline. All 7MGE & GTE motors made...

Cams do make a difference on the dyno

Impressive! It's good to see some hard numbers. I'm also curious to see how the curves changed. So I second the graphs. Good Job

    about 1'' of throttle freeplay

Currently my supra is a state away in Colorado so if someone can run out to their supra and confirm this, I would appreciate it. If I remember correctly there are two nylon washers in the locations listed in the pic below. While the pic isn't great it's the best I have.

Yeah, they give specs for the transmission kick down cable. But other than that there is nothing. Sad but true. Like stated above. See if your missing a white nylon washer, or if you have one but it is severely worn down.

Mine had some slop in it, even after tightening it to maximum. And then after awhile it started sticking. I found by looking at someone else’s linkage that mine had lost a nylon washer. And that was what was causing the play. The washer was located in between the upper and lower arms for the...

    Ghost In the Shell

I was fine with the first ending of evangelion. But people complained and they made a second alternate ending. That one was a complete mind f**k. It messed with my head for like three days after, until I just gave up trying to my any logical since of it. As for GITS I thought the movie ws...
