The different turbine housing is the cheaper route, more than likely it will help the situation. Putting a 2J block will help a whole lot as well, but I'd start with the turbine housing...
All of them have one (it's a simple loop of hardline across the front above where the intercooler was.
91-92 had the loop, but it actually had fins mounted to it to act like a real cooler as several of the times they raced the supra, it dropped out because of power steering failure.
Shorter means faster reaction and less chance for leaks.
It has been done, but it's not that important (as a boost controller will allow you to adjust it where you want)
Yeah, like I said, if you get better performance, I might be interested.
The only thing is, i might be going with R12 and I'm not sure a parallel flow condenser will work well with R12...
Do NOT use a fel-pro EGR cooler gasket, it's made out of the same paper stuff that the intake gaskets are made out of instead of the metal material that exhaust gaskets are made out of like OEM.
Also, the Group-A heads look like they are heavily modified stock castings.
Depends on what was done to the tranny. If it has new gears, DO NOT BEAT ON IT.
Gears have to wear into each other (on both sides, hence the slowing down part), and the pieces have to heat cycle.
Diffs are the same way
